A C-6 or a Big bell C-4 will work just fine. Both have identical gear ratios 2.46.1 1st,1.46.1 second,1.00.1 third. Both these trannies are solid but the C4 sucks up less power due to a lighter amount of rotating mass.

is there any way that it will pass emissions with this motor? Also is there any way it could be changed to efi?the car would be so fast with this bad boy under the hood. note:this is my daily driver.or should i just keep the motor for now and drop in a 351w?thank for all your help........chris

I have seen TKOs hooked up to 460s so my guess would be that it would work also with the hole FE family. You would prolly,I could be wrong though

I think you'd pass emissions, just retard timing a lot, fill up the tank, put in some fuel system clean up with full tank, make sure you have a K&N Filter on that carbourated motor for max air flow. Other than that, It'll be a pretty mean stang.
