I have an 88 5.0 HO that will not start. I have replaced Coil, cap, button, and complete distributor including TFI module. If I take off the coil wire from distributor and ground it it throws good sparks. If I plug it back to distributor I get fire to only cyl #8. I have been messing with this for days and I am lost!!! Help.........

I think you've probably done this, but are all the spark plugs good as well? Wasn't listed in your replacement list. Were you having this problem before you replaced any of the components? Check that all the plugs are torqued in the holes correctly to ensure a good ground. Also check that the plug wire tab is actually on the spark plug and not just the boot slipped over it. I've done that a couple of times.
