****ing rocker arms!

The Ford Racing replacements are reliable like Mike T said.

Just make sure you specify that it is a cobra when you order them. There is a difference. They should be blue.

Oh the ford racing ones for the cobra are made by Crane Cams if I remember, so you could just order them from Crane and save money. They are 1.7 if i remember.

Those sure look like needle bearings from the rocker arms to me.
DO NOT operate the engine until you have replaced all the rocker arms.......

Tinman,

I opened up the valve covers yesterday and it appears someone has already replaced all the rocker arms. Do you by chance know if the original 1993 cobra rockers had crane cams stamped on them? Everything looked good and there was no evidence of any catastrophic damage. I believe what I found was left over from the replacement, I can't think of anything in the lower end that would have those type of bearings?

Yeah same here. Not sure that they had Crane Cams stamped into them though. Everything looked good except when I put it back together I heard a small ticking noise that wasn't there before? I had to wrestle with the passenger side valve cover a bit to get it back into place by rotating the engine to get the rockers in the right place so they wouldn't bind on the cover, so I'm hoping I didn't do any damage in the process. I guess Ill tear it back down this spring and check it out, but other than that the car is running smoothly! I appreciate everyones help! Now if i could just find a replacement Cobra steering wheel I would be in great shape and have the car back to O.E.M
