2002 V6 Mustang Winter Help

I guys, I am new here and recent concerns got me to come on this website and get some advice. I drive a 2002 Mustang V6 and before winter started my car stopped starting. The engine is getting no spark. In fall I replaced the plug wires and it did not make my car start. It has now been most of the winter and the car has not started since, my battery was left in it due to not being able to unplug the batter(damaged bolt). Car now has maybe a little less than a quarter of gas in it.

What are your recommendations? Please elaborate.
Should I wait until spring replace the coil pack and see if it will start?
What about my gas, my battery.

What should I do for when spring comes and I want to drive the car.

Please any tips will help!!

Thanks

First thing I would do is get a battery charger on that battery. If you leave it dead too long it won't be any good anymore. If you need to replace the bad bolt do so now and get it over with.

If you leave fuel in a car too long it turn to a varnish like state an clogs everything up, including your gas lines and fuel injectors. If a car is going to sit for long period of time you need to add an additive to it to keep it stable.

Instead of just replace parts because you don;t know what else to do you should test them first. The coil can be checked with an ohm meter. Check to see what the resistance is and then refer to a repair manual to compare your readings to the factory acceptable range.

You said the motor was not getting a spark. How do you know that? If you just pull a plug and leave it dangling from the spark plug wire you might no get a spark. The threads of the spark plug need to be grounded. You can lay the spark plug against metal or run a jumper lead to it from a grounded portion of the frame.
