With our cars, the only serious tip probably is to resist the joy of flooring it off the green light...!

thanks guys

I heard its best to keep your tank above "one quarter empty"...because it puts less stress on the fuel pump and pan - thus giving better gas milage...is this true?

I found a CAI addition to mine helped with fuel economy. Not that I bough the car with economy really in mind, atleast not beyond a certain point

No, but not sucking the tank nearly dry all the time will extend the lifespan of the pump.

For a V6 like your's, there are four ways to do it:

1) Stay off the gas.
2) Keep your drive train in good working order.
3) Aerodynamic improvements.
4) Lose weight (from the car, that is).
