Can't find oil dip stick

I am not a mechanic. I have a 1965 mustang with an inline 6 cylinder engine. I want to check the oil level but for the life of me, I can't find it. I found the transmission stick, but can't find the oil dipstick. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind. I found it under a bunch of wires. But I like this forum so I will be back.

That usually happens the other way around. Bet you couldn't believe it was right there all the time. I've been there with the Tranny stick.

Reminds me when I first went to find my spark plugs on this car. I had done spark plugs before on many vehicles, so I knew about where they should be, but I had never dealt with cops before (the kind on our engines, not the kind that pull you over lol).
