This car was previously owned and built by Jake LaMotta of LaMotta Performance and won 3 NMRA True Streets before being sold to his long time friend and current owner Chris Escobar who then raced it to 11 NMRA True Street Wins! The previous championship combination was a 98 Cobra 4v with twin turbos and dominated the NMRA circuit for several years and ran a best of 8.4 @ 162mph! With 2 years away from the NMRA scene Chris Escobar has had the car at LaMotta Performance changing over to a Ford Racing Coyote 5.0 built by Kris Starnes Racing with Garrett Twin Turbos & Turbosmart Wastegates & Blow off valves to up the power and run faster as well! Spikes Performance re-painted the SVO and did an incredible job! The SVO also has a new Dynamic Racing Transmissions Pro Tree 2 Powerglide, UPR Suspension, Strange 9 inch rear, Baer brakes, Holeshot Wheels with M&H tires, S-Max Intercooler, Vibrant fittings & hoses/tubing, ARP Fasteners, Manley Rods & CP Pistons, CFM Valve cover breather & fuel rails, and FAST computer management tuned by Brian Macy at Horsepower Connection! Interior and Exterior was handled NPD & TMI for a true restoration in and out. Quality Chassis did the 25.5 cage, turbo piping and custom headers.
