CAI?
Ok im sure you have all seen those $30 or $40 cai's on ebay, whats up with them?
is or has anybody run one? i just can't figure out how they are making them so much cheaper than other companies charging $150+ |
RE: CAI?
I'll stick with my $170.00 K&NFIPK2. I always go for the name brands.

RE: CAI?
I've heard of people having fitment problems with the Ebay ones, but they've made them work. But I would just spend the money on a name brand CAI with a K&N.

RE: CAI?
they're all going to give you pretty much the same gains. mostly it's just the name you're paying for. the ebay ones from what i hear are basically a MAC CAI. same exact thing. i dunno, never had one. i got a K&N for mine used for $90. got rid of it shortly after though.

RE: CAI?
It doesn't really matter. tunableinduction makes the best, but are also expensive. But the ebay ones will be pretty much the same as the name brand ones. A CAI is not that hard to mess up. lol.

RE: CAI?
I haven't made my mind up yet. I will pay the extra cash if the name brand ones are better but the only things i could see going wrong are fitment, or parts not there. even if ya have to buy a K&N your still a lot cheaper than some of the name brand kits. I am mainly wanting some opions especialy form people who have them.

RE: CAI?
www.tunableinduction.com Everyone that has them loves them.

RE: CAI?
I had a K&N Aircharger and the fitment and quality were excellent. I personally wouldn't put any knockoff performance parts on a $20,000 - $25,000+ car, but that's just my opinion.

RE: CAI?
i have an ebay one. works just as good as any other cai
|
RE: CAI?
well it only costs them about $2.50 to make a cai, so 30$ is all i would pay, 150 is retarded..make ur own for 10 bucks
