2013 GT Passenger Header Gasket
So my Mustang Gt is under warranty and I dropped it off at the dealer because the passenger header/manifold gasket is leaking. They kept it for 4 days and now have told me to come pick it up until the "special tool" they need to fix it arrives. I am to the point to where I would rather just do it myself, what kind of time am I looking at to do this? This is my first and likely last Ford due to this nonsense.

What's the special tool? Let the dealer fix it although It's a pain they made you wait '4' days before telling you the tool is what they are waiting.
Besides, if you mess something up or go in later to fix something else related to the same issue (or if you fug it up) you voided your warranty on that item so it will be out of pocket no matter what.

"A special tool to lift the motor 2.5 centimeters to get a bolt out" think that's called a jack. Guess they think I just fell off the turnip truck. As far as future warranty work, I'm about to throw a vortech on it.

If you are comfortable doing it, go for it.
A vortech wouldn't void the warranty on the header gasket. Since it's a supercharger, you don't touch the header gasket...a turbo charger would void it though since you have to tie into the exhaust...

Depends on the dealer but you are right
The one I go to is authorized to work on Whipple based cars (Roush) and FRPP stuff and provide parts and labor warranty on their installs/service.
They will work with other brands of performance parts but can only warranty the part.
So, my dealership is a bit more mod friendly than the average one.
