Something strange just happened - need advise
 

I recently bought a used 2013 Mustang GT with a standard trans. The car has 17500 miles on it.

I was entering a long on ramp, so I got on it a bit as I went through the gears. When I shifted into third, the car bucked and I lost power. I pushed the cluch in and let off the gas. The motor seemed to miss and had very little power. The wrench light came on.

I pulled over and shut off the motor, then did a restart. The car ran like normal and the wrench went away.

I did not get close to the rev limit and was not on it that hard. Any idea what happened? Thanks
