Trying to Eliminate Needing Keys

Eliminate Keys

Im trying to eliminate needing a key on my car. Im going to be shaving my door handles and putting in poppers.
I also want to eliminate needing to use a key at all inside the car to.. I would like to bypass the ignition switch eliminating the need for a key. Would it be possible to bypass the power to the ignition switch and go through a kill switch and then a power switch. Where when the kill switch is on there will be no power to the car, and then turn off the kill switch to put power to another switch to activate all power, and use a push button start. I think that is all thx for all info in advance.

Can anyone tell me if its even possible to do even if you dont know how to do it. Any input at all would help.

It's possible, just a matter of how much wiring you're willing to do. If your car has an immobilizer (chipped keys) that is built into the ecu, you'll have to get an ECU without an immobilizer. If it's a simple mechanical ignition, it should be just a matter of removing the switch from the circuit and wiring in what ever kind of switch you want. Generally on race cars I would have a simple 2-position switch and a push button to activate the starter. I don't know if anyone has a wiring diagram for or the pin-outs for the ecu, you could map out the way you want to wire up your switches.
