Question How to keep fuel pumping in 93 GT duraspark conversion

Hey all, been a long time.

Anyhoo, got an issue trying to keep the fuel going while trying to convert this thing. Now I'm sure you all are wondering why the hell is he trying to run a Duraspark ignition on a '93? Well, it's not really just a Duraspark, it's the Ford Motorsport extra duty ignition. Basically, it's an MSD 6AL that was made to be a direct plug and play for early Mustangs.

Included in this swap is a 1985 Mustang GT manual trans distributor, the Motorsport coil, and the ignition module. And the harness from my old '85 GT that ties everything together.

The problem I'm having is fuel delivery. I assume that the factory '93 system uses a sort of feedback loop from the distributor to the computer to tell it when to squirt fuel into the cylinders. i.e. ignition module sends a signal saying "car is running" to the computer, which then the computer sprays fuel via injectors.

How can I "trick" the computer into thinking that the car is running and to actuate the injectors?

The efi cars use a PIP sensor in the distributor to send a signal to the ECM telling it to fire the injectors. With out that PIP signal I see no way to trick the ECM into firing the injectors , because the computer has no way of knowing where the engine stroke is.
If you had an actual MSD 6al box you wouldn't need to change the distributor because they include instructions on how to hook it up to your efi car. Now if the ignition box you have is like the msd box, then you should be able to put the correct distributor in and have it work.
If its not compatible with the efi distributor then I don't see how it can be made to work.
