Question regarding car alarm
I'm a newbie so hopefully this is the right place to post question. I have 2012 Mustang. I just dropped my remote after locking my car and remote won't respond. According to my internet research, some say it is safe to unlock car with key and put in ignition which will prevent car alarm to set off. I just don't want to open it with my key to find out alarm will keep on going. any expert opinion?

Welcome to the forum! My name is Deysha with Ford Service and as per your owner’s manual under the Locks and Security section it states the following:
Automatic disarming
Switching the ignition to the on position with a coded key disarms the vehicle.
I hope this helps.
