Exclamation 2014 V6 Coupe Hood Bounce --- HELP!!! Please.

Hey all,

Just purchased a '14 Premium V6 Coupe, in Grabber Blue. I absolutely LOVE this car...the 305 HP makes this thing HAUL ***! I actually wanted a 302 BOSS, a GT 350, or GT500, but I didn't have the funds for those.

Anyway, I've noticed after the past weeks of driving --- actually interstate commuting --- that at speeds of 65+ MPH, the hood bounces. I don't know how else to describe it. It vibrates and bounces, lifting up by about maybe an eighth to a quarter of an inch, then bounces back down, then back up. It is also really loud, makes a humming/vibrating sound. I'm worried the hood might fly off.

The car is new, has not had any body work/modifications, and has not had any accidents or fender-benders.

I'm stumped about what to do. Anyone have suggestions on this???

Thank you !

There are usually rubber stoppers that can be adjusted under the hood, I would guess that they have been changed from the stock setting, try that, and good luck!

Hey, I did some good!
I'm glad it worked out for ya, just make sure they aren't up too much or else you will have problems closing the hood.

Yep! Thanks man. You saved me $100, was going to buy a hood pin kit, now don't need it!
