What about cold air intake? Am I gonna pass smog check? Does it have legal problems does it even make a difference?

the factory air box setup is a cold air intake, and flows well enough to feed a 3.7 liter V6.

Oh ok, well I live in LA and with the traffic here you don't really get to enjoy driving anyway! That's why I didn't get the 5.0 in the first place! but still I was looking for a way to some horsepower... Apparently turbocharger is the only way to go, anyway thanks for all your helps guys.
I'm not much of racer or a speed freak I'm just Mustang fan, I think 302hp will do the job for now until I get some cash!

True, it does flow well enough. All stock intakes flow well enough. But an aftermarket intake will flow better. My AirAid really woke up the 3.7 throughout the whole RPM range. Even made it sound more aggressive.

OP, If you're on a budget, I see used quality intakes on eBay all day long for $150-200.

Sell it and get a GT. I'm pretty hard pressed to find a reason why I would spend the thousands of dollars on forced induction for a V6 Mustang.

Those videos would've been more interesting from a dig... While I'm always rooting for the mustang, from a dig the GTR would've squashed it.

And I wouldn't exactly call that smoking a GTR. It pulled away, not ran away like the GTR did from the Camaro.

Still, just goes to show if you have the money to play, anything is possible

The second video was from a dig..

And I would hope the $100,000 car would beat a turbo v6 mustang lol. Pretty damn close though.
