Is This The Passive Anti-Theft Kicking In?

Hello everyone,

Got a question for all you Mustang owners. I've tried searching online and have not had any luck yet - maybe my keywords are off. I have a 2015 GT, auto-transmission and this morning is the 3rd time I've encountered this problem. When I try to press down on the brakes so I can start the car, I find that the brakes won't engage. Meaning, I can't press it down. Like it's stuck/locked in place. I have to try a few times before it will finally press down and I can hit the button to start the car. I've never had the occasion to test out the anti-theft in my previous Mustang or this one but is this the passive anti-theft thing kicking in or is something messing up? I do have the keyfob in my pocket so it is nearby. Any ideas?

Please and thank you!

the brakes have nothing to do with the anti theft, its under warranty, take it in and have the dealer check it out
