OK WHAT MODS CAN I DO WITHOUT SUCKING THE BANK$$???
i am trying to see my options vs. budget? the 400 is rebuilt,but i want a little more power.
without swapping heads can i just do a decent cam intake,and carb? headers are iffy till i figure out bypassing the transfer case.which is dual. unless there are some heads that are affordable.?

honestly i think your heads are fine i have seen some pretty fast tucks running 2v heads. you can get a edlebrock intake im sure someone makes headers for that thing. compression is the biggest problem with a 400 they are very lacking. honestly pistons would be the best thing to get more power a set of 10:1 would get that truck bumping down the road.

yeah..it's in the ol'bronco.
i found a weiand for $190 but that's for a two barrel. would a 650 4b be enough?
camshaft specs got to be for off roading.
i found long tubes,but not sure if it will clear the transfer case?
i got to replace the flywheel/clutch doing that next week (no teeth on the flywheel!)......should of seen it last night 3 girls pushing this beast it was pretty comical.

no it's a 400m,,if it was a 351c i wouldn't be asking questions
it is using a 12 in clutch also(do to bad flywheel i found that out).
i wanted to change over to a 4b,cause this 2b is a$$!
