'16 Delivery Soon - After Mkt Parts Void Warranty Questions
#12
I know! LOL! It's a common concern that comes up a lot! Go in & talk to the service manager! Service Writers are not the ones to talk to about this! Where did you buy the Mustang? If you convince the service manager you are not beating the car to death, or adding radical mods, he will likely tell you not to worry about the small stuff! Obviously they are protecting themselves from guys that harm new cars with mods & then want Ford to repair the damage! My Service Manager said no problem with a Roush Supercharger. Most service writers would be scared to say that for fear of getting in trouble... & for good reason. Ford is required by law to show your mod damaged the Mustang, & therefore Ford shouldn't have to do the repair. Common sense applies, but service writers don't always know that! I was told by a service writer my warranty was voided! The Service Manager laughed & put a new tranny in the car!
