I'm a competitive drifter in Nevada and I'm planning on running a fifth generation mustang and start off with the stock v8 to see how it behaves and what needs to be changed.
So my question to the forums is how reliable is the platform? for example I had Subaru sti and it was known to have a weak oil pickup piece and it would shatter than go through the whole oil system. Is there any popular modifications as far as reliability to the chassis or the 4.6L V8?
