Hi,

i am helping a friend who has 94 mustang gt 302.
The pony didnt't start, and after 10mins at google
i was sure it is the inductive pickup coil in distributor.
replaced the pickup in my garage, and the car fired up right away.
everything good, a beer earned from a happy friend.

however, the next day the friend calls me the pony died again.
i asked him to check if spark at the plug. no he says, but
can smell gas after multiple cranks.

i havent been to the stang yet, since he lives 40mi away.
i would go buy parts , go to the car and start replacing.

What parts and In what order would you go replace, based on the odds? would you think the pickup coil could have failed again,( if, what breaks it?
