What work was done on the car before the problem started?

Looks like you have an intake leak/unmetered air entering after the MAF sensor.

What i've seen before is that a new air filtering system(not stock) was installed, new MAF sensor and new EGR valve.

New air filtering system...you mean a new Cold Air Intake (CAI)? (Filter + Tube from the air filter to the Throttle Body) that plus a new MAF (if it's a high flow design) can cause problems if the car's computer is not tuned to handle those. What brand of CAI is it?

Check all of the connection points for leaks and make sure the MAF sensor is installed correctly but, most likely without a tune, the new intake system and MAF sensor will flow much higher than what the stock computer tune can handle....thus the codes.

A Tune calibrates the engine's computer to accommodate the changes you've made. Most changes to a cars intake system, fuel system, and or exhaust require a tune to work correctly. Modifications that don't require a tune are mufflers/cat back exhaust, short tube headers, and just replacing the air filter alone.

If it's supposedly a Tune-free CAI you've installed, it's still suspect because not all of them work as advertised.

Put the car back to stock until you have a tuner with a tune to install for your modifications.

Yea I'm young, still working on car part names lol but yes, the CAI was replaced and not stock, the previous owner changed that. From what I saw I really didn't see any type of brand, the air filter had the name Speed Racing on it but that's about it.

Sounds like you have an aftermarket CAI that requires a tune. Sometimes the "no tune required" CAI will also need tuning. That could account for the codes you are getting - bought the car used it sounds like and the previous owner set the tune back to stock so it isn't taking into account the aftermarket part.

Yup, probably sold the tuner separately to get his money back.

OP, if you can, post a picture of what you have on the car. Someone on the forum can identify the brand of CAI you have and suggest where to buy a tuner with tune for it. It sounds like you won't be able to put the car back to stock since you bought it with the CAI already installed.

Be careful driving it in the condition it's in. you could easily burn a hole in your piston(s) or burn out your cats.
