2015 GT - Heat radiating from the inside of car
#12
So the car is in the shop at the dealer for a second time. I guess before Ford can send out a field engineer, the dealer needs to be 100% certain that they did all they could. With that said, the dealer just emailed me the following message:
"we found one gasket on the firewall that was folded, we are replacing it but we will have to check if there’s any difference on the inside temperature inside the car."
Does anyone know what this means? Is this a big deal? Thanks in advance.

megahertz, sounds like that dealer E-mail could be translated into; "we have no idea what is wrong but maybe this gibberish will make you think we know what we are doing."

I'm sorry megahertz, I misread your car as being an 05 so disregard my previous replies. I'll edit them out.
However if the A/C work you had done involved removing the whole HVAC assembly from under the dash, say to replace a leaking evaporator, I guess it's possible they folded a gasket while reinstalling the unit to the firewall. Ask them to see the old gasket unless they reused it of coarse.
