Default Check engine light

Hey guys I could use some help. I have a 2004 gt I have a sr cold air intake, magnaflow x-pipe which is now catless due to brick rattling so I gutted the cats and magnaflow magnapack cat back. I have check engine light o2 sensor codes and running rich codes. But the car spudders on idle and lags while giving it throttle in motion. Will a tune help? Has anyone come across these issues?

I know this has been up for awhile and hopefully you figured it out by now but if you haven’t I’ll give my 2 cents. So for the car acting up when idleing and driving such as your throttle response I’d say that’s everything to do with you gutting out the cats. Now that your car is reading the exhaust and comes up running rich it’s gonna try and fix the issue but can’t I’d definitely say a tune will be the problem solver!

Good luck!
Paul

Default Fixed most of the issues

Thanks paul, I actually did a complete tune up. Fixed most of the issues. I scanned the car I got one dead o2 sensor. The code was actually running mean oddly enough. ( I thought it said running rich ). I do appreciate the reply. I actually upgraded my coil ons since it was cheaper then oem. Now I have a small trans issue which I believe I know what the problem is. As for actual running, she runs like an animal again

No problem at all but that’s good you figured out that issue! I’m surprised it was running lean I would think the opposite like you said but good thing you fixed the issue and it’s running like it should again! If you don’t mind me asking what’s the issue with the transmission?
