Need opinion on shift kmob.
I have the stock automatic shift **** for my 95 Mustang, it's ugly. So after searching all morning on google, this is one of the better ones I found:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AAAQ%3AUS%3A1
Yes, Google brought me results from Ebay. If you look on that page the seller has instructions on how to install the ****. What caught my eye though was that I may have to make some adjustments if the **** doesn't fit on the rod. So I emailed the seller about this and this was his response:
YES IT WILL WORK [On a 95 mustang] AS LONG AS YOU DON'T HAVE OVERDRIVE ON THE SHIFT **** [which I don't], AND THE LEVER INSIDE THE SHIFT ROD NEEDS TO BE PUSHED DOWN RATHER THAN PULLED UP, THE BUTTONLESS SHIFT **** IS SPRING -LOADED AND THE WHOLE **** NEEDS TO BE PUSHED DOWN IN ORDER TO SHIFT.
So is it possible to push the rod down so the **** will work? I want a new **** but I don't want to mess up my car.
Thanks.
