Default Ford mustang 1996 gt v8

I have a 1996 ford mustang gt and need to buy interior parts for it and I have found a person selling 2001 ford mustang gt interior that is .In really good shape and I am wondering... will the seats and carpet, door panels fit in my 1996 ford mustang??

Yes, 1994-2004 is Gen4 mustang, all the same platform.

1999-2004 They're called New Edge, with sharper contours, larger wheel arches, and creases in the bodywork.
The basic proportions, interior design, and chassis remained the same.

Aside from the center console (which the '01+ are generally considered preferable over previous years) it's all the same and will go right in to your '96.
