Hello, first time poster here hoping to get my 99 GT ready for the drive to work tomorrow. Need to replace the fuel pump. Could anyone give me a tip on how to clear the filler tube out of the gas tank? I get right to the end and it seems hung up on what must be a clip end or something. Is this guy an assembly? I put pretty good torque on it to get it out and it seems to not want to budge. Tried maneuvering the tank up and down and side to side and it doesn't seem to help. Thanks in advance for any help.

Decided just to leave filler tube connected and do the job from under the car...
