Brake lights issue

Ok so my running lights work(when I turn on my headlights they turn on,they are the same bulb as the brake lights) but whenever I press my brakes they don’t get brighter . When I use my blinker they do and my hazards so the bulbs are fine but I can’t figure out why they just stoped working .is there a fuse or a ground I can check (2007 gt)

Are you the first owner? Were aftermarket sequential light turn signals ever installed?

I don’t think it’s the brake switch because if I put on cruise and press the brake it works

May still want to look. With the computers today there may be things run different off the same switch. The boo, the shift interlock, and lights could all be separate.

According to the diagram, the brake switch is a single contact, so if your cruise
deactivates when you press the brake pedal, then it is physically working.

There is a fuse in the SBJ for the brakes; fuse 15 "Stop Lamp Switch"

Does your center brake light work? That is on a separate wire from the SBJ.
