Hey guys just got a 14 v6 6speed mustang. 17k. going down the highway there is a whirring noise coming from rearend. Its not constant,, it make a noise and goes away and 2-3 seconds later it happens again.. speed doesn't matter.. remains the same and intervals when its quiet are the same.. Almost sound like a very quiet rumble strip if you run over thoses on the side of the highway.. Just joined and thanks for having me

Check the U-joints, and carrier bearing.

See if the damper was removed...
