Hello, I have a new 2019 mustang and it has a warning beep at 4000 rpm. Is there a way to disable this warning beep. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
When is the warning coming on? At idle if you mash the gas? That's probably a free rev limiter and there is no way to disable it. That's there to tell you you could damage your engine.
If you're driving and it does it whenever you reach 4000 RPM that could be a shift indicator for best gas mileage (if you're manual) or like MustangDude mentioned a parental thing to keep the kiddies from having too much fun.
Ok that sounds key/program related. Take it to a dealer and have them show you how to properly program it or look up Ford MYKEY Mustang program options. It's most likely in there somewhere.
