2000 3.8 v6 engine swap, which trans fluid to use ?
Im swapping out my old 3.8 v6 stang engine with a newer one, cant seem to get a concrete answer on which transmission fluid to use. New engine has 64k miles , og tranny has 150+ its a manual. Any help is appreciated

How can you not get a definitive answer, when everyone says Mercon V?
In 1996, Ford released Mercon "V" fluid specification (M2C202-B).
Ford Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 06-14-04 indicates that Mercon "V" is to replace the original Mercon fluid
