Default Drive train warranty help/ rear end

So about two years ago I took my 2014 v6 mustang in to the Ford dealership because I was having a rear end noise it’s like a whining noise ...They looked at it and checked it out and came back and told me it was bad tires and I need to get new tires, so eventually about six months later I got new tires and it didn’t fix the noise, obviously I should’ve took it back in then but I didn’t .... It didn’t ever bother me because I just listen to music and it blocks out the noise and I didn’t think it would be a huge issue but obviously now I know it is... fast forward to last Friday I take it back to Ford and they tell me I need a whole new rear end rebuild .... when I took it the first time it was under warranty and now it is not and the dealership is trying to not cover it. I have the paperwork from the first time that shows where I told them there is a rear end issue and a whining noise... my question is do I have a case to get this covered under warranty or am I screwed ? Thanks

Invoice from taking it first time .

So you waited 6 months to get tires as they recommended. And now you've waited 2 years to decide that you might have a claim? Am I reading correctly?

If you are outside of the warranty coverage period and there is a repair needed, then any repair is on you. There is no way for them to relate it back to what they checked 2 years ago, because a LOT could have happened in that time period that was user caused.

Please, don't start multiple threads on the same thing across the forum. If you post it once in the proper section it will be responded to. When you post it several times it makes it difficult for anyone to follow threads and you don't get any more answers.

The next time you take it to a dealer and they tell you a rear end noise is tires, argue with them.
