I just bought my first Mustang: 1988 White 5.0 GT 29K original miles, Factory T-Tops, manual transmission, power everything, all options, dead mint condition, one owner, original tires, show quality car. I bought it as an invesment, and I'm ready to sell, but I would like to hear opinions as to what a reasonable asking price should be. The motor and exhaust has Ford Motorsport upgrades that were installed at time of purchase by the original owner. What do you think the value is on this car?

Whatever somone is willing to pay for it is what it's worth, there is not really a collector market for that car. I am sure there is sombody willing to pay alot for it, the trick is going to be finding that person. I am sure it is a very nice car but 88 GT's are not rare (although they are getting hard to find in good condition). I would say your best bet is to put it on ebay with big reserve and see how high the bidding goes.

I think you can go to Edmunds.com and plug in all the info to get a value for you car...not too many cars are good investments. Get some property if you want to invest in something. I'm talking like a house and some dirt...
