Police superchip for 88 Mustang?

HI there.

I am new here. I was wondering if anybody had any info on the 87-93 Mustangs that were used for Police cars. I have a 88 GT convertable and recently bought a 87 computer and ADS superchip from a 87 Police mustang. I went to install it and the car started fine but ran rough and was flooding. It sounded like it had a crazy cam in it which was nice but thats about it. Any sugestions would be great as to if this is compatible with my car and just needs timing set up or something like that? Thank you

Ummm. I bought it on eBay. I live in Canada and drove out to Denver Colorado to pick it up. Not sure if it was from California originally.

Look at the emissions label under the hood..it will say "for Federal and California" if it's a cali car. Or something like that
