In theory, many of the standard mods (CAI, headers, exhaust) will make the engine more efficient and reduce gas consumption, especially when combined with a good tune. The problem is most people can't resist hot shoeing the car after the mods so their mileage decreases.

YES,you can get non-piggyback underdrive pulleys.A high flow air filter migh get you a few HP.A Steeda timing adjuster set at +3* got me two MPG's.I installed a full Bassani exhaust and an Accufab 75mm throttle body and plenum and they didn't cost any MPG's.I got a free run on a dynojet dyno that said the car makes 255 hp and 294 ft/lbs of torque.(the run was in fifth gear and I think the numbers were a little low but it was free.)

get some gears. it won't increase HP, but will greatly increase acceleration. you also won't lose much more than 1 maybe 2MPG. assuming you can stay off the pedal.

Feed your baby from the bottle (nitrous)

Sure, the mileage would suck while your actually using the juice, but who cares what kind of mileage you get at full throttle...

Daily use mileage stays the same, but you can kick in an extra 75-125HP when needed.
