Won't Idle

Just had to put a new engine in my car, put my intake and throttle body on it, it's timed to 10 degrees, but it won't idle, as soon as i take my foot off the gas it stalls, WHAT ARE SOME THINGS TO LOOK FOR THAT WOULD CAUSE THIS SHYT !!!

RE: Won't Idle

new engine?

what do you have in your new engine?

86 was speed density efi and it doesn't like mods if you did any thing more than a very mild cam or mild heads it will cause the car to not run right.

give us an idea of what you have and maybe we can help ya a littel.

ok isn't what i first suspected

i would start buy trying to adjust the idle ajustment screw see if that will do it if not then look for a vacume leak.
