ive been told both, its fine and bad to lift from the diff. i never do it, i just use the four jack piont cut-outs in the uni-body. works fine.
Just as long as you lift inder the dif housing, and don't get under the dif cover, it's ok.
true like i said the rear housing is strong enougth but i have messed up a diffy cover and had to rea seal one. I HATE MESSING WITH REAR END GREASE THAT CRAP STINKS.

All you need is a skrewdriver, unless your afraid of a little gas getting spilt, btw I would where some saftey goggles if you do.

You've never worked on replacing the fuel filter on an 99-04 mustang then. Screwdriver will get you no where because the release for the filter is INSIDE the fuel line and you have to have a tool to disconnect it.
