I think that about covers it... although i've never heard any stories of people destroying their engines because their fuel pump went out... if anything it'd probably be more of a problem on older carb'd cars where you dont need 19-35 lbs of fuel pressure
It's happened to a few people, but those people were running insane amounts of boost on a mildly built engine.
