always remember with paint you get what you pay for... i have a 94 gt which has a tri coat special edition paint on it its red but hard to match i paid $600.00 just to have my cobra r svo hood painted and blended.. i now have a full kaminari urithane body kit and a 00 cobra r wing that needs to be painted, also i have the side body scoops for the rear brake scoops. its all brand new in the boxes.. i think im going to have the whole car done but i cant find someone I trust with her and they all want like 3 grand... anyone know someone in upstate n.y.?????

I've got about 1200 paint jobs under my belt. A lot of these cheap places will take single stage and add some clearcoat in the last coat. It looks ok for a while but it will dull out and chip easily. If your going to do it, do it right. Go with a good brand base/clear. Personally I like BASF's R-M. Good luck!
