Default suspension and brakes?

Hey guys when i took my car to the shop to get my power steering fixed (t hey had to replace the pump) i notice a leak in the shocks i mean i kno my shocks shoudlnt be leaking but what could that mean and how much would it be to replace them can somone reccomend me a good brand?

And also my brakes haha there kinna rusting now and i have to step on the brakes harder nowadays to stop what would u guys reccomend me changing those too?

I have a 98 V6 Mustang so thanks for the help =P

these something wrong dude you will get a litte surface rust but that shoudl be gone the first time you hit the brakes.

as far as struts and shocks just don't buy the cheapies and you will be fine.

i am running ceramic bendix brake pads, brembo drilled slotted rotors, stock painted calipers, stainless steel braided brake lines. and 8 position KYB AGX adjustable gas shocks... i did research for months before buying them and I believe they are the best..

one of my best friends has those shocks, and he swears by them

as tim said, just dont get the cheap ones and you will be happy, as far as performance

i would look into billstein

wassup with KYB's warranty they deny u of life time warranty b/c o use of aftermarket coils ? whats that all about ? I wanted to use KYB too but another option id like to take is Eibach Springs and Blistein Shocks and Struts

eibach has a nice kit that includes shocks, struts, and sway bars. everything is designed to work with the rest. i think the kit goes for somethin around $950. tokico and koni also make nice adjustable shocks.

for brakes, look into some powerslot rotors and hawk pads to better your braking.
