Ok i've decided to go ahead and get a nitrous setup for my mustang. The one i chose to get is the EDELBROCK EDL-70001 from summit. My questions are how detailed exactly are the instructions that come with the nitrous setup? How much of a pain in the *** is this going to be to install (CARBED SETUP)?How easy is it to get things all screwed up?Does anyone have any tips or tricks they like to use or do to insure that everything is setup properly?

Im very compitent and i know my way around an engine and especially this one since i built it.I dont think ill have any real problems as long as the instructions are straight foward and detailed. But im a bit cautious considering this motor just hit 5,500 miles before i stored her.And to be honest i dont really have the money to rebuild it again right now.

Anyone with REAL experiences installing and using nitrous please drop me a line im wanting to do as much homework on this as i possibly can so that i make NO mistakes!

Thanks in advance.

well on a carb you'll need to upgrade your fuel pump..what do you have?..it's fair straight forward as it just take time..hadest part is the lines inwhich you'll need to drill a few holes and maybe in the kit there will be a few rubber gorments...

I will be upgrading to an electric inline fuel pump (HOLLEY) and if you mean running the lines through out the car thats the simple partif you ask me im what worried about is making sure my timing and air/fuel mixtures are right on.

Anyone know of a way to check that everything is working and in order without hitting the nitrous?

make sure that you get a couple of gauges----Air/fuel ratio and Fuel pressure.....the instructions are easy to follow, if you have the time to do the set up do it yourself, i didnt have the time though.
