You know the dealers are going to add huge huge markups and see what people are willing to pay for them. A dealership in So-Cal I think Harold Ford doesnt do markups, I remember when the 05' came out it was one of the only places in cali that you could get one without paying a 20k markup.
Ebay is also another great place to look for cars without the markup, just be carefull to read everything on their listing because sometimes its "Amount paid over MSRP" which is crap. The for GT can be bought for MSRP on ebay with no problems, Future Ford and Folsom Lake Ford here in Sac-town still want $500k, Ebay $145k.

45k....plus probably 10k dealer markup in most states. so 55k[&o] dealer markups are illegal in new jersey so it may be illegal in other states as well, but they find a way to inflate the price anyway

Well you all know how it goes. The Ford GT as an example, they are supposedly selling for $130,000 or so... but I havn't heard of anyone getting one for less than $200,000 after adding a few more worth-while options to it before they roll it off the lot. Plus after this break from the Super Vehicle Team, I'm sure there will be pleanty of 'stang fans out there willing to pay way more than need be on a new Shelby which will be pretty limited edition anyhow im sure, thus killing the market for all the money-deficient guys like me out there.
