Default Blown Gasket of some sort

What a waste of time and money, why a 6 and why use NOS??? leave nos to the imports that need to catch up to mustangs and other american cars, NOS is the easy way into getting a fast car in my opinion, why didnt u just get a 5.0 or at least a 4.6 fomr the newer stangs and swap. Maybe its just me i dont know but NOS is for pussies, hey but at least its a stang, but like i said leave the nos for imports

why is nitrous for pus*y's?...you a fool if you get your *** handed to you week after and you don't use it...

dude first put in a 185 and leave it in there...have the car reverse flush...it will be pressurize also dye can be put in it as well to find the leak...are you sure the water isn't getting pushed out the rad too?

No NOS is my preference, that is an easy way to get a fast car, mustangs dont need it, leave them to the imports to catch up to us. But some people like to sink that low and go that route well so be it.

I havent flushed it yet, im going to this weekend, i got a new water pump and gasket on. I have the last 3 water pumps i used, and each time the gasket that is manufactured into the pump blows out, not the one that we put on to attach to the timing cover. So this time i took the pump itself apart before i put it on, and used mass amounts of sealer and lockgiht on those bolts to make sure it stays in so far no problems, but alaso havent put too much preasuer on it yet. But i will get it flushed to make sure there is no blockage. i have a 190 in it now just because its winter time need some heat, lol. did have a 160 origianly wasted to much gas, and was sick of being frozen due to no heat.

Do you have a flex fan on it? I had similar problems about 8 yrs ago on my 82 after i bought it i put a flex fan on it and i kept having to replace water pump gaskets untill one day i was racing down rt 4 in hamilton and i had the smoke that you described + antifreeze everywhere my timing chain cover broke. But the thing that was causing it was the flex fan. I guess it wasnt balanced and th vibration was causing the problem. I installed an electric fan and never had the problem again.I hope this helps good luck!

Maybe you could show me something sometime since ur not to far away from me. New to the v-8 world, used to have the 2.3 turbo lol. all i know is i have gotten down to replacesing the water pump and putting it back together all in about 45-60 minutes depending on how often i have to warm my hands lol.

I know what you mean E check is a joke.Id pay $20 to not have my car tested.Luckily for me in 3 years i can get historical plates on my 82'.I would be sure that there arent any bolts missing or some that may have worked loose on your fan clutch or fan.Maybe check the bolts on the accesory brackets.Just trying to rule out vibration as the cause not trying to insult your mechanical skills. It would be cool to get together and talk mustangs sometime!
