can any one tell me where the fuel pump is on a 1990 mustang lx 2.3 4 cyl and what it looks like thanks

its in your gass tank you have to drop the gas tank out of the car and pull ou the sending unit the fuel pump will be round about three inches long and should be a shiny sliver.

Hope you don't have a full tank of gas. That is usually when those things go out. Use a Jack under the tank to hold it in place while unbolting the straps or have a friend help. It will make it a lot easier. I've even had my wife out in the garage under the fuel tank...what was she thinking?
