Well the reason I was brining it up is because I highly doubt these are made by jegs. Its likely that they are made by one of hte big names in the industry and just rebadged.
IE... I can buy an Ingersoll ran 2135 Titanium Impact gun for like 280 or I can get the same gun (with an aluminum hamercase instead of titanium) for like 130$ less.

Not sure. To me some things house brands just won't fit the bill.

I have known many people swaping gears and the whine comes from inproper setup...Backlash, etc must be just right. Too tight, they will whine and wear too quickly, too loose and they will whine also. Just have someone who really knows what they are doing set them up.

RE: richmond or ford racing gears
I have heard Richmond uses a different metal alloy that is inferior or something like that, that will heat up quicker and cause whinning.. this is just what I have heard, not saying its true by any means. With this being said, I am going to stick w/ FRPP simply because you can pick them up for (373's) 156 shipped and I havent heard anybody complain about them, just Richmonds and Motives only....

Just look around the forums and youll see that most ppl on here have gone with Ford Racing for their gears, so you could rest assure that buying them would be a safe bet. But then again, its all up to you, its youre car.
