FORGED INTERNALS
I AM GOING TO INSTALL A KENNEBELL SUPERCHARGER IN MID MARCH... NOW I HAVE BEEN READING IN A COUPLE OF FORUMS ABOUT SUPERCHARGERS, AND SEVERAL CARS HAVE DAMAGE THE BLOCK.... NOW TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE IS IT OK TO INSTALL ONLY FORGED INTERNALS OR DO THE WHOLE BLOCK BEFORE INSTALLING THE SUPERCHARGER I AM PLANING TO GO BETEWEEN 8 PSI TO 14 AT THE MAX. ALSO HOW MUCH MORE MONEY IS A FAIR AMOUNT TO SPEND ON THEM, GOOD QUALITY.
THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO GUYS....[sm=groupwave.gif]

RE: FORGED INTERNALS
apparently your block should handle 14psi max... source is hear say..
but a forged crank, connecting rods and pistons are expensive.. as a package anyways
for your power needs you may only need connecting rods.. your pistons and crank ay already be up to snuff. contact a local engine shop, and ask questions

RE: FORGED INTERNALS
I've got a built short block that has been sitting around for a long time. If you're interested send me an e-mail to thomas.shelton@co-nexus.com for more information.
