2007 Shelby GT cost 50,000 dollars in Charleston, South Carolina
Today while getting my 3rd new shaker radio installed, I asked around the sales room and found out that three shelbys have been
already ordered and that they were going for 45,000 dollars and a dealer mark up was given of 5,000 dollars. Thats all the models
this year but will get more next year. So there it is the price. Is that too much to ask for a 475 horsepower plus machine?
Hell the Roush in the showroom listed for 52,000 thousand and its only 425 horsepower. By the way tried to used the search to add
on the previous thread to no avail.

I agree that 50K sounds pretty good when comparing it to a stage 3 Roush but I would wait till it hits the market. The hype is going to die down and the over MSRP will come to a halt. Ford is going to make as many as the market will allow. Just give it time. Unless you absolutely have to be the first one on the block with one. JMO

I still would wait to see if they honor that 50K once it hits the floor. I just don't see it happening. The saleen and roush are in the same ballpark and the dealers have a much easier time getting those on the lot. No matter what any delaer SAYS, we'll all know the truth soon enough. I have said all along 65K and I'm sticking to it until I see on a lot for sale... The ZO6 wasn't even in as high demand and the dealers out here were doing 15-20K over invoice when it hit the floor.
