Anyone know how much an 06 Mustang GT weighs? I'm thinking of taking mine to the landfill to put it on their scale. I'm thinking 3400 lbs, but could be wrong.

I've seen weights of 3483lbs for the GT Premium Coupe and 3614lbs for the GT Conv. Hope this helps.

i feel pretty confident (iff the scales at the Dekalb Co Waste Processing plant in Chamblee GA are accurate) the above car === 3471.846 # + gas (5.67 #/gal) + driver and passenger + junk in the trunk. The door says 4550 or 1078.154 too heavy.

seriously i weighed mine at the track a couple weeks ago. 3345#(w/o driver) with the spare tire in and 1/4 tank of gas. that was with all my new stuff including drag wheels on the car. i have taken about 200lbs off the car.here's the weight loss from old items vs. new.
k-member=40lbs arms=15lbs. sway bar delete/radiator support=40lbs. bogarts and m/t's=100lbs. driveshaft=30lbs.
the stock weight of 05-06 gt i've read is 3450# w/manual trans and 3500# w/auto trans
the shaker 1000 weighs an additional 85 lbs, i think side airbags are 45lbs. extra also.

I weighed mine at the landfill with between 1/4 to 1/2 tank gas. Weighed in at 3500lbs without me in it.
