grr ford!

RE: grr ford!
That's kinda odd, I think. I ordered mine in mid-February and picked it up today. If they're so backlogged, how does mine get here so fast? (I'm not complaining at all. I had expected to wait 5 more weeks)
It sucks that they cancelled yours.

The emmissions deal is BS. The only state where it MIGHT be different is california. EVERY state recieves the same vehicles. The only issue is that the emmisions exemption might not transfer. Big deal, get the car you want and skin out $25 for an E-test before you get your plates.

Sounds to me that the original dealer was willing to swap out a local car, but didn't want to deal with the hassles of transport by going out of state to find one.

Your dealership is full of bull....
Either... that dealership overextended its own allocation, or got a better offer from another buyer and sold your car to him (the car belongs to the dealership during the order process, NOT the buyer!), or.. the dealership wants your order for their lot.
Go to another dealership and order your car from them.
Be upfront, and inquire as to their allocation status and can they order your car with a 5 or less priority, or will they convert a "lot" order to your car if it hasn't been built yet. (Dealerships always have standing orders in processing for "lot" cars, and do have the power to change the cars options up until VIN is assigned.)
Sorry to hear your dealership ripped you off!

cool w/ the price...if you cant find what you want, just order a 07. but most likly you are not going to get it till oct. I dont know where you live, but miller ford in mt laruel nj has a 06 black gt 5spd....pre w/ side air bags, skr 500, 18 inch chrome wheels...pretty nice.
