Default Rust on the hood...

I am soo pissed off right now... can you believe it... 2005 mustang.. no winter driving and the hood in the front where it bends down in the front... all bubbled paint on the outside and inside the hood. No visiabl damage just all rust bubbles.. Well ford... thanks for the new hood your gonna be getting me hahha..

Can't be rust, but it could be corrosion in the aluminum flange area where the outter skin is attached to the inner frame. But Ford should replace it.

+1 Your aluminum hood can't be rusting, Ford should replace your hood.

More then likely just the crappy paint job Ford did to our cars... and in his case, it was done on a humid day so the paint didn't adhear to the hood or primer and is bubbling up.

Don't worry.... the bubble will go away on their own...

of course... then you will have a primer dotted hood which might look worse the the bubbles!

Call the dealership - - have them repaint!
