Has anyone done over sized tires - 275-50-17 on the rear on the 05/06? and if so what size tire on the front? Looking for a 50 series tire on the 17" wheel trying to get that oldtime look...don't like how the cars look with 35 40 series tires - looking to go retro without going to the expence of moving down to a 15" rim.

05Retro

I'm lookig for the same look. The 275-50-17 will fit our rims but as for the front the only ones that seem to be close to the same height as stock will be a 255-50-17 not really that skinny front tire look. I tried a set of 15X4 Convro Pros that I had mounted on my 03 GT but they would not fit because of the larger disc brake set-up on the 05.

These are Nitto 450's 275/50/17 on the rear & 255/50/17 on the front. They are mounted on Mustang Tuning 2005 stock style 17X9 wheels. [IMG][/IMG]
